Leshem Shamayim was founded with a singular purpose — to open a yeshiva in Jerusalem, fully funded by our dedicated founders. This mission is a reflection of our commitment to providing a nurturing environment for learning and spiritual growth.
In 2022, Rabbi Gabriel Perez, father of Chaim Perez, assumed leadership, shaping the destiny of our yeshiva. With a wealth of experience and wisdom, Rabbi Perez laid the foundation for a thriving center of Torah study that continues to evolve and grow.
Under the wise guidance of Rabbi Gabriel Perez, our yeshiva has flourished. Today, we proudly host approximately 55 students and boast a dedicated team of 10 staff members. Our community is characterized by scholarly pursuit, spiritual exploration, and a deep sense of camaraderie.
What sets Leshem Shamayim apart is our commitment to self-sufficiency. Unlike many educational institutions, we are fully funded by our founders, allowing us to prioritize our primary mission — nurturing the intellectual and spiritual growth of our students.
